With the passing of the seasons
The wound began to heal
Now the clashing of our reasons
Is all I seem to feel

With each memory that ascends
I rupture deep inside
But I no longer can pretend
My love for you has died

I kept my emotions repressed
Though you might not agree
For it was at my own request
that
You got the best of me

I was going through my Poetry Folder when I ran
across an unfinished piece from last year.

After tying up the loose ends, I decided it was deviantART-worthy.

I especially like the ending. I'd love to hear your thoughts, if you have any!

What is with you and short poems? You're great at them! I nearly cried reading this. . .

:D Short poems are easy, lol. And I get easily bored/frustrated with longer poems.

:happycry: You're so nice to me, thank you! Your comment just made my day.
