This is one of my favorite original characters from
a novel I began writing back in 2004.

Species: demonic dragon
Title: Soul Keeper
Name: NA
Height: 8ft

Character Bio:

She is a dark temptress who inhabits both a draconic and humanoid form.

At one time she was human, but a fallen angel named Nickoloi appeared to her
and explained that Lucifer had written her a new destiny… one penned in blood.

Against her will, Nickoloi extracted her soul and imprisoned it within the gates of Hell.
In its place, he bestowed upon her a demonic essence bent on the world’s destruction.

Free to travel between Earth and Hell, she plagues the human race
by absorbing unsuspecting souls in an attempt to fill the soulless void within her.

A reluctant emissary of Satan himself, she must collect one thousand souls
if she ever hopes to recover her own, and the devil is not on her side…

This is a full-color revamp of my beloved Soul Keeper!
I've been working here and there on it over the last two days.

This is how I imagine her looking in my novel...
which is naturally unfinished, just like everything else I write, lol.

WOW. And let me say W.O.W again! This has got to be in the top of ANY digital drawing i've EVER seen you do my friend.

Lets forget the fact that doing a dragon in MS Publisher must be a BITCH, but the colors? Are some of my FAVORITES put together (I love highlighted blue on gray or brown) AND.. Oh and..

My favorite part has to be his membrane skin in between his horns and fins. TO DIE FOR!

Total fave!!!

:wow: You really think so? God, I'm so glad all those monotonous hours of hard work paid off, lol.

She was a bitch to draw, it was nuts! That's why I only did a headshot of her. ;)
It was supposed to be a full body shot, a remake of the lineart I have, but I got seriously discouraged.

I adore these colors together. I knew from the moment I thought her up that these were the colors for her.
Thank you! The membrane was tricky, but I'm so glad you think it looks good.

I'm so sorry that I haven't gotten back to you over email.
My old computer bit the big one, so I finally got that Macbook Pro I've been begging my dad for.
We're still working out the kinks and trying to set up my email account on it.
Let me remind you though that your novel is badass and I love it to death!

Aw awesome, i was gonna ask you about that sooner or later. This summer has been monsterous and left me with no thinking time, so its not like im harping that the novel is just getting done so fast. Lol.

And like I said before, its only if you have TIME that i want you to work on stuff for Twice Bitten. I'm thinking about posting the first 2 chapters on DA though; what do you think?

And I've been the same way with my novel. 2 chapters revised---go me. XD

Of course I would love to work on some concept art! It's on my to-do list, actually.
As soon as I get this Mac vs. PC thing under control, I'll start hammering you for info on the characters.

You know, I think posting it on dA would be a great idea.
If you feel like you're ready, that is. No one says you have to. ;)
I always get feedback on my poetry by posting it here, so putting up Twice Bitten might do the same for you!

HOLLY HOT DOG!! :faint: wow.. this is one of the amazingest dragons i've seen all round! :P i looooove this to death! especially the glowing tongue! and its an amazing coolor! such smashingness! :faint: the head is just brill, and sooo is the coloring. its all brilliantly pimp hun! :heart: i realy realy realy realy hope you post more of soul keeper, cuz i wanna draw her!! :heart: sooo awesome! :D
