Huge File: 6540x2775 - 10.4 MB Voila! My midterm assignment for Digital Publishing Class in all its glory: a full-fledged dust jacket for Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison. I'm so glad I chose this novel! It was so inspiring and I was never out of ideas for my illustrations. You all should read it if you're into... well, awesome things, because DWW is great. Lots of work went into this one. It gave me quite the headache. I worked all day today to get this done, but it was so worth it. And I really learned some things about InDesign, which is good. All of the information on the dust jacket was taken from the original dust jacket that came with the hardcover book. Other than that, everything was illustrated by me. And of course I threw my name in there on the back panel because I did illustrate it! It makes me feel special, anyways. I'm really proud of this. I mean, it might not look like much, but to me it's one of the best things I've ever created. Let me know what you think! I'd love to hear your thoughts.
